As promised, here is the second giveaway. I did not host a Chex Mix swap party but I did have my annual ladies get together tonight. I had my sister and my niece, my mom, grandma and daughter. Some simple snacks and a container of sweet and salty Christmas chex mix for each of them to take home. It's delicious!
Sweet & Salty Christmas Chex Mix
3 cups corn chex
3 cups rice chex
2 120z packages of white chocolate chips
1 cup small pretzels
1 cup peanuts
1 cup green and red m&ms
In a large bowl mix all ingredients except m&ms. Melt chocolate and toss gently with mixture. Spread onto parchment line baking sheet(s) and sprinkle with m&ms.
You could also start a new tradition. Change up the annual cookie swap for a Chex Mix swap instead. Invite some friends over for a party and ask everyone to make enough of their favorite Chex Party Mix recipe to exchange with party guests. Taste, mix, swap, and share the recipes, putting the treats in easy DIY packages for everyone to take home.
